Why Therapy?

Does therapy work?

Therapy is a space to talk freely, explore what matters to you, and feel supported - always confidential, consistent, and free of judgment.

I often describe therapy as an opportunity to look at life from different perspectives - different angles on why we might feel or think the way that we do. This might be about the past that formed us, the future we are concerned about, and the people we are in relations with - including ourselves.

At its core, therapy with me is about creating a space where you can feel understood enough to explore the parts of yourself that may have previously felt unseen or unexplored. Together, we can begin to make sense of the load - whatever ‘it’ might be.

You also don’t necessarily have to come with a clear goal - sometimes it might just be a matter of something not feeling quite ‘right’ or a niggling desire to live life differently.
